Isabelle Gougenheim is a French-American contemporary artist based in Chicago. She holds a Master’s degree in Fine Arts and Ethnology from Les Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg. During her studies, she spent six months in the Moroccan desert living with Berber tribes. This experience continues to shape her approach to art, where texture, resilience, resourcefulness, and a sense of exploration are central.

Inspired by urban landscapes, travel, and cartography, Isabelle creates vibrant, layered mixed-media compositions.

Isabelle Gougenheim has exhibited her work in cities such as Chicago, Miami, Paris and Dubai, and is represented by art galleries including Galerie Murmure (Colmar, France) and Galería Casa Colón (Mérida, Mexico). Her work has earned recognition across the international art world, with features in publications such as Saatchi Art, Chicago Gallery News, Chicago Magazine, Titan Contemporary Publishing, and AATONAU.

Extending her practice beyond the canvas, Isabelle Gougenheim translates her original artworks into limited-edition wearable pieces. Each design is developed from her paintings and reimagined on textile. Her wearable art collection is carried by fashion boutiques and museum stores across the United States and France.
